If you’ve got a bit more time on your hands all of a sudden, you’ll probably find you’re going to be sat in front of your screen more often that you used to be.

We have so many options to watch right at our fingertips which makes choosing what to watch tricky. Do you watch something new? A miniseries? Something you know and love? Or do you commit to something with hundreds of episodes to delve into?

Well if you have some time to kill, the latter might be the best solution.

Rather than suggesting some of the best new series to watch, let’s refine it that one step further and look at the 10 best series to binge that have 10+ seasons.

Hopefully these will keep you occupied for a few months!

Now if you want to start watching Doctor Who, you have two options. Doctor Who originally started back in 1963 and ran up until 1983, with a total of 26 seasons in that time period. This is the classic Doctor Who which you do not necessarily need to watch to understand what’s deemed as the “New Who”. This refers to the modern Doctor Who which picked back up in 2005 and is where most people start from.

If you feel like you need something light-hearted, FRIENDS might be your best option. There’s an episode for almost every mood, so whether you binge it from the beginning or pick and choose, it’s bound to do the job.

This is one for those that really want to commit. As it stands, 474 episodes have aired which should keep you going for a while. This crime-drama takes you on some dark investigations that may keep you up all night. But, at least that means you’ll be able to fit more episodes in!

Supernatural (15 seasons)

This dark fantasy features the dynamic duo of Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) Winchester. As the title alludes, the two brothers are on the hunt for all things supernatural as their father taught them to growing up. However as always, things aren’t quite as simple as they seem…

The Simpsons is a classic series which really needs no introduction. If you want to dive back into it and relive your youth, every single episode is now available to stream on Disney+. Just like Friends, you can watch every episode in sequence or pick and choose them as you feel. Every episode will provide you with the much-needed comic relief you crave.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (15 seasons)

CSI is a huge franchise which features 797 episodes in total across each series. The various series include: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY and CSI: Cyber. Will and Grace is another sitcom that will lighten your day with every episode you watch. This show is an important part of LGBTQ+ representation in TV and undoubtedly helped to pave the way for a lot of shows that followed.

So, that should be enough to keep you going for a while! Between all of these shows there’s more than 100 seasons to watch so if you’re really desperate for a distraction, all of these might take you up to the end of the year.
